Winners in 9 categories (plus the IPNE Book of the Year) from among the finalists below will be announced at the IPNE 4th Annual Book Awards Ceremony, November 4, 2017, at the Robbins Library in Arlington, Massachusetts. Books in the contest were judged by a diverse group of librarians and publishing professionals across New England. A glimpse at the judges for the 2017 Book Awards may be found here. Join us at the awards ceremony, where in addition to announcing the winners, we will hold a workshop on "How to Publish Your Book".

      A winner will be announced from among the finalists on this list in each category at the Book Awards Ceremony on November 4, 2017. For the general category of genre fiction, the Book Awards team decided on including 4 finalists instead of the usual two given the number of entries and in recognition of the brilliant works that were submitted. In addition, we will announce the Book of the Year prize at the ceremony as well. Thanks so much for participating in this year's Awards - it helps float everyone's boat!
