Mission Statement


IPNE’s mission is to provide opportunities for education and networking for those engaged in independent book publishing and related activities in the six New England states.

IPNE shall also serve an advocacy role on behalf of the independent publishing community, taking on specific advocacy projects if and when approved by the Board of Directors.


IPNE's PURPOSE:

IPNE offers educational programs, networking, marketing opportunities, advocacy, and information about publishing. The organization is supported primarily by membership dues and other income substantially related to its purpose. No part of its net earnings will inure to the benefit of any individual, other than reimbursement for goods and services if approved specifically by the Board of Directors. IPNE is not organized for profit or to engage in an activity ordinarily carried on for profit.
