IPNE's Pandemic Grant
Independent Publishers of New England is proud to announce it has established a fund to support Independent publishers and authors who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic. IPNE's Pandemic Grant Fund will provide grants up to the amount of $500 in cash or, in some cases, in kind (publishing services offered by donors) to qualified individuals.
All applicants to the program will receive a free six-month membership in IPNE, plus a free listing of themselves and one or more books they have published on Brilliant Light Publishing, a sponsor of the grant program.
Each grant applicant is eligible for up to a $500 grant in cash from IPNE or editorial, marketing, or other services of equivalent value from one of our sponsors. Grant applications will be reviewed by a six-person selection committee of IPNE members. Those chosen will be awarded grants on a rolling basis through December 1, 2020.Eligibility:
•Primary residence in one of the 6 New England states
•A professional publishing record of at least one book
•Agreement to have your most recently published book listed at www.brilliantlightpublishing.com and provision of an image of your book cover, a thirty-word book summary, and places to buy your book.
• A statement describing how has the pandemic affected your writing/publishing career.
• Apply for one Pandemic Grant only this year.
• Funds spent by end 2020
• Agreement to submit a brief report by December 31, 2020, stating how the grant money and/or services were used and how it helped to continue your publishing/ writing career.
