Categories (Levels)

1. Publisher Membership- $38.00:  Independent publisher companies, writers who self-publish, and individuals whose principal interest is publishing. Annual dues.

2. Vendor Membership   - $38.00:  Those who are not publishers but who work with publishers, such as illustrators, agents, indexers, copy editors, proofreaders, writers, printers, retailers, wholesalers, publicists, consultants, and other vendors to the publishing industry. Annual dues.

Membership Benefits

Here are some of the benefits of being a member of IPNE:

• Discounts on Cooperative marketing opportunities at trade shows and conferences.  Receive discounted member rates to exhibit your books, typically a $20 discount per book. For example, Non-members pay $50 per book to exhibit, Members would pay $30 per book. (Varies by event).  See our events page for upcoming shows.

• Discount on IBPA membership  (formerly PMA), receive a $30 discount off the Independent Book Publishers Association membership fees that starts at $119 -  just for belonging to IPNE. Click here to visit IBPA's website and see their various membership fees.

• MEMBER DIRECTORY: List your company in our online directory, and link to your web site, blog, LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter.

• MEMBER NEWS: Post press release information for your new books on our Member News page.

• E-Newletter Monthly: The IPNE newsletter keeps you abreast of all the latest IPNE developments.
  

• IPNE DISCUSSION LIST on Yahoo Groups: Network online with other small and independent publishers and self-published authors in your state and region on IPNE's Yahoo Group discussion list.

• IPNE ANNOUNCEMENT LIST: Sign up to receive breaking news and updates automatically.Please send an email to ExecutiveDirector@ipne.org with "Please add me to the Announcement list" in the subject line.
  

• Attend regional publisher workshops and presentations and other IPNE-sponsored meetings and events.

• Participate in cooperative catalogs and direct mail marketing by genre.
